YOUR starting point to Canadian Pharmacy Licensure

Ensure that you have read and understood the steps and requirements for licensure before proceeding. We strongly recommend that you use the self-assessment tools to help you better understand the realities of Canadian pharmacy practice and to help you identify areas where you may need additional education or training.

If you are ready to begin the application process, create a New Candidate Account by enrolling in the Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada. Upon enrolment, you will be assigned a candidate number. This number will be used for identification purposes throughout the licensure process. All information and documentation related to your application, including results from language proficiency tests and PEBC examinations will be associated with your candidate number.

Once you have enrolled, you will be able to access information about your progress. As well, pharmacy regulatory authorities will be able to access your information to process your application.

If you would like to practise in Québec, please click here for more information.

The fee for enrolment is $325 CAD + tax, if applicable. Please note that the enrolment fee is not refundable.  Exceptions may be made, subject to an administration fee. Contact gatewayinfo@napra.ca, or call 613-569-9800 for more information.

Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada is designed to operate with Internet Explorer. Using other browsers could lead to technical difficulties.
